The Apartment:

The comfortable holiday apartment Playa Catamaran in Almuñécar on Andalusia’s Costa Tropical is far from disturbing mass-tourism and traffic noise and is especially suitable for families: child's cot, high chair as well as a lot of toys are available.

The holiday apartment is equipped with a precious marble floor and offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 people on 85m² living area. It has two comfortable bedrooms and for further guests a cosy sofa bed.

You get to the holiday apartment on the second floor either by taking the stairs or using the elevator.

The light-flooded living room with its comfortable lounge opens to the spacious southward terrace. Thanks to its favourable location it is perfect for a pleasant sunny stay in winter – and for hot summer days the apartment has useful sunshades.

The terrace provides a fantastic sea view. The sandy beach Playa Calabajio is almost right in front of the building – thanks to its gently sloping beach it is perfect for families and children.

It is just a 10 minutes walk to Playa del Tesorillo (shown below) in Almuñecar where you find a lot of restaurants, beautiful Spanish tapas bars as well as shops for your daily needs.

The designer-swimming pool is used only by guests of the complex and is embedded in a lush green garden of ~1.500m², with shade-giving palms and tropical plants. This is the right place for relaxing and sunbathing. You also find a barbecue hut as well as a paddle-tennis court within the area – both free of charge.

The comfortably equipped kitchen offers a dishwasher, stove, microwave, oven, fridge and freezer and washing machine. There are two bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower.

Many of the attractions on Costa Tropical, for example the world-famous Alhambra in Granada, are only a 60 minutes drive away.
Location:

• The Costa Tropical in Andalusia is located between the Costa del Sol and the Costa de Almería and occupies a particularly beautiful part of the coast, which has the best conditions to spend wonderful holidays.

• The Costa Tropical is located directly on the Mediterranean and the proximity to the north of Africa and the Sierra Nevada mountains with the highest peaks of the peninsula protects the area from the cold north winds. A subtropical microclimate with 320 sunny days a year makes it possible to grow tropical fruits in the lush valleys.

Directions:

• The nearest airport is Málaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option.
