Welcome to Villa Verano in Salobreña!

The exclusive and well-equipped luxury Villa Verano is located in an elevated position with panoramic views in the prestigious private residential area of Monte de los Almendros (Mountain of Almonds), on the hillside above the village of Salobreña on the Costa Tropical de Granada in southern Spain.

Villa Verano offers magnificent views of the Mediterranean sea, the whitewashed town of Salobreña with its Moorish castle from the 10th Century and the snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

The villa has a private garden with bananas, grapefruit, tangerines, nisporas, pomegranates, mangoes, custard apples and avocado trees and is in a very quiet location with very little through traffic and has a private, heated pool and large, walled terraces with lots of outdoor seating to the full enjoyment of the wonderful climate of southern Spain and the wonderful view of the blue and turquoise Mediterranean coast, the whitewashed village of Salobreña, the Moorish castle and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

Holiday Villa Verano is conveniently equipped for up to 6 adults and 1 baby and offers on around 155 m² 3 well appointed bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en-suite). There are two bedrooms on the main level, the master bedroom and one of the other two doubles. To the third double bedroom on the second floor leads an iron spiral staircase. It is a romantic, round tower room with its own private balcony and panoramic views of the sea and the mountains. This bedroom has its own large bathroom.

Also the master bedroom has its own large bathroom. This can be opened onto the pool deck. The master bedroom has breathtaking views of the sea and the coast and has direct access to the Andalusian patio.

Villa Verano has electric radiators, heating and air conditioning units in all bedrooms and living areas!



The villa offers excellent living space with a semi-circular lounge with arched Andalusian windows. There is an open fireplace (logs are provided free throughout the winter), dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, Nescafe Dolce Gusto espresso / cappuccino coffee machine, sandwich toaster, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

The villa has satellite TV, DVD, CD-Playar, a radio-cassette player and free Internet access (WLAN).

The living area opens onto a terrace with Andalusian arches, a rattan furniture for morning breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening and a stunning view of the sea and Salobreña. This terrace leads to another, spacious terrace with the large heated and private swimming pool (10m x 4m), surrounded by a large private garden and access to a terrace with a barbecue, an outdoor dining area and a terrace with table tennis. The terraces are all located on the same level and offer a magnificent view. The pool terrace leads down a staircase with Andalusian tiles to the private garden with lawn, fruit trees and rose trees and spectacular views of the sea and the village of Salobreña.



There are many things that you can do here! Relax at the private pool or enjoy a drink admiring the magnificent view from the terraces! From dusk, the views to the illuminated, picturesque castle of Salobreña is fascinating!

Or visit the picturesque old towns, markets and modern department stores in the area. Salobreña is located between the authentic Spanish cities, Almuñecar and Motril, and is surrounded by lush sugar cane plantations.

Monte de los Almendros is only 90 kilometers east of Malaga and about 65 kilometers south of Granada, located on the "Costa Tropical", which is the eastern part of the "Costa del Sol. The Costa Tropical is the coast of Granada province, which extends from the village of Nerja to Motril.

The main beach of Salobreña is just 5 minutes by car from Monte de los Almendros and many more beaches and romantic bays close to the east and west.

An 18-hole golf course is nearby and the many restaurants and tapas bars in the region are excellent. The seafood is always fresh, the wines excellent and the prices reasonable.

Due to its authentic tropical climate, Salobreña's weather resembles that of the Caribbean. with a mean annual temperature of 18°C (64°F), ranging from 14°C (57°F) min to 32°C (90°F) max. You can take a "summer" holiday here in the winter!

Location:
The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter.

Directions:
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
