Monte de los Almendros Pool Area

This beautiful detached holiday villa Villa Naranja is situated in the charming residential area of "Monte de los Almendros" (almond-hill), close to Salobreña on Costa Tropical in Andalucia, and has stunning views along the Mediterranean coastline, the foothills of the Sierra Nevada and the romantic castle-hill of Salobreña.

A living area of ~ 125 sqm provides spacious accommodation for up to 6 people and 1 infant, with 3 comfortable bedrooms (one of them with ensuite-bath).

The holiday villa has a large lounge with fireplace and panorama-windows with fantastic sea view. The kitchen is fully-equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

Enjoy alfresco dining and BBQ on the large terrace – or spend romantic mild summer evenings in the beautiful garden of ~ 700 sqm with wide lawn, many tropical plants and palm trees and a wonderful view to the Mediterranean and the castle-hill of Salobreña. The castle is illuminated at night!

Or just relax at the large pool area of Monte de los Almendros with fantastic views to the close-by Mediterranean and little coves in Salobreña. The pool area and tennis courts within the urbanisation are in walking-distance and free of charge.

Away from tourist crowds and traffic noise, Monte de los Almendros is just a 5 minutes drive from the wide beaches of Salobreña and many restaurants offering a wide range of Spanish or international specialties.

Don't forget to visit one of the typically Spanish Tapas bars in the province of Granada! Just here, you still get these delicious snacks free to your glass of wine!

Other places of interest within an one hour drive are Granada with its world-famous Alhambra and the stalactite caves of Nerja and, of course, the Sierra Nevada.

Also a trip on the old national street to Granada, passing lush green valleys and the famous "white villages" of Andalucia, is always worthwhile!

Location:
The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter.

Directions:
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
