Luxury detached holiday villa in La Herradura on the Costa Tropical / Costa del Sol in Andalucia with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and outstanding sea and mountain views. The holiday villa is situated in quiet and private rustic setting and sleeps up to 6 persons. This holiday villa Villa León offers a large private swimming pool 8x5mtrs with lawn areas and sun terrace, set in private enclosed beautiful tropical gardens. Distance from Malaga Airport to La Herradura is 50 minutes - and to the beach and town it is only 5 minutes drive. Villa León is located in San Antonio - a beautiful rustic urbanisation with outstanding sea and mountain views located above La Herradura bay, just a few minutes drive to the village and beach. This secluded holiday villa is set in 1500 square metres and comprises of 3 double bedrooms, one with double bed en suite, the other 2 having twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms with all amenities. It has a spacious split level open plan lounge/dining room with a fireplace and pine ceiling, large and well equipped kitchen with vitroceramic hob/electric oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave, toaster, coffee machine, electric kettle, etc. There is a private gated driveway to the holiday villa with plenty of parking. You will find a dining terrace with breath taking views, and barbecue area which receives sun all day. The holiday villa has a music centre, video, Satellite TV which receives Astra/German and Sky News/CNN in English. The holiday villa sleeps a maximum of 6 people, a cot is also available. No pets are allowed. A car is recommended. Additional services: Bed linen provided, towels provided, washing machine, safety deposit box. Best points: Ideally located in a private urbanisation, the very spacious and exclusive holiday villa has wonderful views over the bay of La Herradura. La Herradura is one of the few remaining unspoilt villages on the Costa Tropical that can offer a truly Spanish experience in a tranquil environment. The town is situated on the beach road with many outside bars and restaurants. Water sports, tennis, walking, sailing, horse riding and hang gliding are some of the many activities that are available. Granada, Las Alpujarras mountains and the Sierra Nevada are all within easy travelling distance. There are three golf courses within easy reach: Añoreta Golf, Baviera Golf and Los Moriscos Golf. The nearest town Almuñecar is 8 kms. east and Nerja is 12 kms. west. |

Location: The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter. Directions: The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
