Casa Juan is located in a picturesque urbanization on the outskirts of Almunecar on the Costa Tropical.

Here, you find a large shared swimming pool (open all year) which offers a wonderful view to the Mediterranean, the nearby beaches and the surrounding mountains of Costa Tropical.

The holiday house offers space for up to 4 people and has two bedrooms: 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

Next to the bathroom (bathtub/shower), there is a comfortable living/dining room with cozy sofa lounge, dining table and TV with large LCD screen (ASTRA satellite) and DVD player.

The kitchen which opens to the living/dining room is equipped comfortably: dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, coffee machine, oven, 4-flame gas stove, kettle, mixer, toaster, electric orange juicer, dishes, cutlery, glasses and cooking pots.

Special highlights are the large sun terrace with BBQ, ideal for cosy summer nights, as well as the large shared pool with a magnificent sea-view and nice lawn for sunbathing. From here, you may watch dolphins in the nearby see – a place for easy-going holidays!

It is only about a 10-minutes-walk (or 2-minutes-drive) to the next beach, the wide-stretching "Playa de Velilla" in Almunecar, with its many bars and restaurants – something for every taste and budget.

The beautiful beaches "Playa de Cabria" and "Playa del Tesorillo" with pretty restaurants (Spanish, Italian and international) are also not far away.

Also very popular is the "Aqua Tropic" amusement park on the beach "Playa de Velilla" – with Open-Air slides, swimming pool, solarium and numerous water activities.

Within approx. 5 minutes by car, you reach the old town of Almunecar, with its picturesque alleyways and typical Spanish Tapas bars, as well as the town centre, with several supermarkets (such as Lidl, Mercadon) offering Spanish specialties and a wide international range.

In the town center, there is a daily market where you can buy fresh fish and a lot more Mediterranean specialties! The weekly market (each Friday) is a must! Here you find fashionable articles next to some tradespeople selling Andalucian arts and crafts, Flamenco dresses and Spanish treats.

Here, on Costa Tropical in Andalucia, you still get "Tapas" (small and tasty delicacies) for free with your drink!

Many other sights, such as world-famous Alhambra in Granada, are within approx. one hour by car.

The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter.

Directions:
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
