The holiday house Casa Ana in Andalucia, Almunecar, is built in Andalusian style and has been completely restored recently. It is a spacious two-storey house and offers comfortable living-area for up to 6 persons.
Both levels have large sun-terraces with a splendid sea view and view to the Sierra Nevada, the Andalusian mountains. Here, you may also watch dolphins playing in the nearby sea or enjoy convivial BBQ-evenings with fabulous sunsets.
The holiday house is detached and surrounded by a small garden. It is located in a quiet residential area off the beaten track, however, it is only ~a two minutes drive (or a 5 - 10 minutes walk) to the next beach of Almunecar on the Costa Topical, the long-stretching Playa de Velilla with many restaurants, beach-bars and shops. The linear distance to the sea is only around 80 m!
The kitchen opens on to the spacious living-room, and the two bedrooms have picture windows with sea view. There is an separate guest room with a single bed and an extra "mobile" guest bed for further guests.
The holiday house has two bathrooms with shower and WC, satellite-TV (Astra), washing machine and private garage.
It is only a five to ten minutes walk to the next beach and ~5 minutes drive to Almunecar town center with numerous supermarkets, bars and restaurants with typical Spanish and international offer. To many Andalusian sights just as Granada with its famous Alhambra or to the vibrant town of Malaga it takes only about one hour drive.
Location:
The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter.
Directions:
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
