Welcome to our Finca in Andalucia! Here, you will perfectly recover from workaday life and stress in a wonderful private atmosphere. Far away from loud tourist centres, the property, which cannot be seen from the neighbours, and the private pool are for your sole use!

The Finca is wonderfully located, quiet and picturesque, in the Axarquia, an area east of Malaga, with 320 days of sun per year. The region has el mejor clima de Europa – the best climate in Europe!

Less than 2 km away, there is the white Andalucian village Cómpeta. Here you find supermarkets, banks, and more than 20 (!) restaurants. It is only approx. 15 km to the near Mediterranean Sea and to numerous beaches on Costa del Sol.

Originally, the Finca was the Cortijito ("siesta cottage") of a farmer. Throughout the last years, it has been enlarged to a complete house of approx. 130m², with a large and open Andalucian kitchen, a dining room, a living room with wood stove, 3 bedrooms offering 8 sleeps, and 2 bathrooms.

Facing south, the Finca offers views to the near Mediterranean Sea. The private garden occupies approx. 2.000m² and has a private pool (4 x 10m). The access to the pool can be closed off with a gate.

The Finca owes its name to the two carob trees (“Algarrobos” in Spanish, a protected Mediterranean tree) in front of the house. The house is situated at the edge of nature reserve Las Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama, in which you can walk endlessly. On our poperty, there are – next to the two carob trees – olive trees, agaves, and pine trees, which are typical for the nature reserve. Therefore, the house is in a protected, but not remote situation, with lots of privacy. Terraces and garden offer many places to sit either in the sun or shade.

A wonderful atmosphere and the convenient equipment as well as many more amenities guarantee a comfortable stay.

There is a comfortable and modern kitchen, with four-burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, and washing machine. Very convenient: a bread baking machine, an espresso machine, and a coffee maker.

In the living room, there is free wifi internet connection, TV and a video player, as well as an iPod stereo installation to play your favourite music of your own iPods. Also at your disposal: a small library with different literature, cookbooks, some art and travel books on Andalucia, as well as movies in different languages.

The wood stove in the living room dates back to the time, when the house was a “siesta cottage”, and gives a pleasing warmth. In addition, if necessary in winter months, the Finca can be heated with mobile electrical heater units. In summer, airconditioning is at hand.

The Finca has 3 bedrooms: 1 spacious bedroom with double bed, large wardrobe and 1 ensuite bathroom with bath tub and shower. This bedroom gives direct access to the pool and the terrace. On the other side of the house, there are 2 bedrooms: 1 with double bed and large wardrobe, and 1 with 2 bunk beds. Here you also find the second bathroom with shower. A child’s cot is available. In total, the bedrooms of the Finca offer 8 sleeps.

A terracotta-tiled pool terrace and the outdoor kitchen with barbecue are the perfect place for alfresco summer nights. More terraces are outside the living room, under the carob trees, and to the side of the house. A further, little terrace is on top of the rocks behind the swimming pool.

Wooden garden furniture and six sunbeds are for your disposal, and you find several pergolas which are equipped with sun screens.
