The spacious, detached Villa Tropical is on a small hill on the Costa Tropical, the eastern part of the Costa del Sol with a breathtaking 360° panoramic view of the sea, the beaches and the mountains to the north.

To the center of Almuñecar and its picturesque old town is only 5 minutes by car and it's only about 10 minutes walk to the beach with many good and inexpensive restaurants and tapas bars.

The house has 3 floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults and 2 children, for example a family of three generations, or a small group.

The entrance is on the ground floor, from which one can reach the top two floors with a staircase or an elevator with a phone. The elevator serves all floors, which of course is very convenient if you want to carry heavy suitcases up and it is of course especially for the disabled.

Villa Tropical has a private pool of 4 x 8 meters and several terraces, so that you can always find a shady or sunny spot for relaxing and sunbathing.

On the first floor there is the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large living and dining room with air conditioning and two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. On this floor there is a full bathroom and another bathroom with shower, which is also accessible from the pool. From here you have access to the garden with barbecue and the large pool terrace with great views of the sea.

The entire house has air conditioning and in the bedrooms there are additional fans. For the colder winter months there is heating at Villa Tropical. There is also a Wi-Fi Internet access, satellite TV, VCR and radio with CD player.

On the top floor there is another air-conditioned double bedroom with bathroom and large roof terrace, and a service area which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, with access to a small terrace. There is also a bunk bed for children.

The ground floor has a separate apartment. This air-conditioned apartment has a bedroom with a king-size bed, a private, spacious living room and a private open-plan kitchen and a bathroom with shower and toilet. This apartment is not rented separately, so you will have a maximum of privacy!

Pets are not allowed and we ask you not to smoke in the house.

Villa Tropical is just 1 hour drive from the Moorish city of Granada, its ski resorts and the airport and the international airport in Málaga.

You can snow ski in the morning and be back in time to water ski in the afternoon at the local beach or nearby naturist beach - and enjoy the flamenco dancing and Spanish red wine in the evening.

Parking for your car can be found on the property.

A local agency will meet and greet you and be available for advice (contact persons speak English, French, German and Spanish). In case of a late arrival, a welcome pack for dinner (or breakfast) can be provided. Bed linen and hand towels will be available free of charge. Day of arrival and day of departure are optional. Location:
The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter.

Directions:
The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
