The Costa Tropical holiday apartment Casa La Romantica is located far from tourist crowds in a quiet residential area of Almunecar in Andalucia. The holiday apartment, with a living area of ~ 70 sqm, is on the first floor and has individual access. The holiday apartment has a private pool of ~ 7 x 4 meters with fantastic sea view. Only now and then the pool is used by the house owner. There are 2 bedrooms (1with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds) and a comfy living room with satellite TV (Astra and Eutelsat) and stereo equipment with CD player. It offers a well-equipped kitchen with 4-flame gas stove, microwave, oven, fridge with freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has bathtub, WC and bidet. The living room looks on to the large private terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or diner with a panoramic and magnificent view to the close-by Mediterranean and the beaches of Almunecar. A parking place is right in front of the house. It is a 2 minutes drive to the beaches and to many restaurants and shops of Almunecar on Costa Tropical. The wide and fine-pebbly beach of Playa de Velilla – with nice Tapas bars – is within ~ 10 to 15 minutes on foot. Further sights in Andalucia, such as Granada and world-famous Alhambra Palace, are within only an one hour drive. |

Location: The Costa Tropical is the eastern part of the Costa del Sol, south of Granada, and stretches from Nerja to Motril. This part of the coast with North Africa on one side and the Sierra Nevada on the other side is superbly sheltered against the cold European north winds. Because of the subtropical climate with 320 days of sunshine throughout the year, the climate is ideal for "summer holidays" even in winter. Directions: The nearest airport is Malaga Airport (about 1 hour drive), but also Almeria and Granada are an option. A car is recommended and car hire can be arranged.
