This beautiful detached holiday villa Villa El Refugio is located on Monte de los Almendros in Salobrena on the Costa Tropical / Costa del Sol in Andalucia.

The Villa has two levels. On the upper level you will find the living area made up of a comfortable lounge equipped with satellite TV, stereo as well as a large fire place for the winter holidays, and the dining area.

The lounge and dining area both have double sliding doors to the outside patio.

The kitchen is also on the upper level, open plan and is well equipped with the washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, stove and hob as well as other necessary appliances.

On the lower lever there are 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin) both en-suite and a further study nook with a single bed. The twin bedroom has a private terrace and sitting area.

All rooms in this house have sea views, including the main bathroom!

There is a beautiful garden filled with lovely flowers, trees and palms. A BBQ area with table and chairs allows for meals outside, overlooking the Mediterranean and other villas on the slopes below. The garden is very peaceful and relaxing.

There is no private swimming pool however just a few minutes walk away there are, for private use of the residents of Monte de los Almendros, community pools, a tennis court and facilities for children.

An 18 hole golf course at Motril is a 10 minute drive.

Excellent shopping facilities are available at Al Campo in Motril, a 10 minute drive.

Dolphins can been seen in the sea below the house.

Monte de Almendros is part of the beautiful Costa Tropical / Costa del Sol region of Andalucia. The surrounding villages have some of the best scenery on this stretch of the coast, including the "Cuevas de Nerja" nearby, which are huge caves thought to be between 12.000 and 20.000 years old, but only discovered in 1959.

You can also wander through the narrow streets of the many nearby mountain villages, visit the water park, bird park, or one of the many historic sites, or travel slightly further afield to the beautiful Alhambra palace in Granada.

If required and at a very reasonable price, a "meet and greet" option can be offered, including a food package so your holiday can begin immediately.
